Gold higher than 18K is not adequate for body jewelry because it can easily be scratched or nicked. Q : Currently have a hoop in my cartilage (helix) but I'd like to swap it out for the hinge hoop' so that its continuous. I'm unsure of which size (length) to get or how to measure for it? Any guidance would be great appreciated! A : You can measure the inner diameter of your current jewelry you have or you can take it to any local piercing shop to have it measured. Q : My question is...do they stay locked into place tight once they're clicked? I would have to order several for the amount of piercings I have and would hate to loose them or are the captive earrings a better choice? The continues earrings are dressier whicw is what I'm looking for A : Once it is closed, it is quite secure. Q : Are you guys able to do a custom size. I got the smallest one 1/4 in and I have two cartilage piercings and for one it's fine but the other the hoop was cutting off circulation so I got the next size 5/16 in but it's a lot bigger and since they are next to each other it looks funny. I need like an in-between size. A : Sorry, but we do not have any in-between sizes. Q : Which size do you recommend for a Tragus piercing? A : The gauge would depend on your actual piercing but the 5/16" diameter is standard for a tragus piercing. Q : A couple of questions. What gauge is this ring? What size do you recommend for a Conch piercing? I love how the jewelry lays in the picture and that is the look I am going for. A : We have 16 and 18 gauge available for this item. The common size for the conch piercing hoop is 11 to 12mm which we do not carry at the moment. Q : I've had a nose piercing since July: Are these for nose? If I have a 20 ' why size 18? How thin is it? A : Yes, you can use this hoop for 18 gauge nose piercings. 18 gauge is a tad thicker than 20 gauge. Clicker ring doesn't come with 20 gauge. If you're looking for 20 gauge, then try this bendable seamless hoop. Most common hoop size for nose piercing is 5/16" (8mm) Q : Will this be available in 11-12mm for conch piercings? A : 12mm is currently in production. It will be available in by the end of April. Q : could i use this for my septum piercing? what size do you recommend? i'm looking for a cute small size. A : Yes, you can use this for the septum. As for the gague and diameter, that would depend on what gauge you were pierced with. Common spetum piercing size is 16g and 14g. For a cute and smaller look, we would recommend the 8mm. Q : Are these "hypoallergenic"? A : Yes, it is hypoallergenic. Please see the product details for further informaiton. Q : What is the best size and gauge for a daith? A : The standard daith gauge is typically is 16g (some 18g) and 5/16" (8mm) in diameter. Q : Are the white gold clickers nickel free or does this just refer to the yellow gold option? A : All our 14K white gold items are nickel free. Q : do you have any plans to possibly make this in a 9mm diameter in the future?! A : We apologize but we do not have any plans of making any 9mm diameter rings. |
